肌酸激酶（Creatine Kinase B，CKB）是一种参与能量稳态的细胞质酶，编码的蛋白质能可逆地催化 ATP 和各种磷酸原，如磷酸肌酸之间的磷酸转移。它在大脑和其他组织中充当同二聚体，在心脏中充当具有类似肌肉同工酶的异二聚体。在 RPA 技术中，该酶可用于构成 RPA反应能量供应体系，利用肌酸激酶催化生成的 ATP 水解供应能量，改变重组酶 (T4 Uvs X) 与引物形成的复合体构象，使重组酶解离暴露出引物的 3’ 端，促进链置换 Bsu DNA 聚合酶结合至引物上，提高 DNA 扩增效率。 用途 RPA 反应能量供应体系 用于骨骼肌疾病及心肌疾病的诊断 推荐使用条件 储存缓冲液：20 mmol/L Tris-HCl (pH8.0), 150 mmol/L NaCl, 0.5 mmol/L EDTA, 0.5 mmol/L DTT, 50%甘油。

Reversibly catalyzes the transfer of phosphate between ATP and various phosphogens (e.g. creatine phosphate). Creatine kinase isoenzymes play a central role in energy transduction in tissues with large, fluctuating energy demands, such as skeletal muscle, heart, brain and spermatozoa (Probable). Acts as a key regulator of adaptive thermogenesis as part of the futile creatine cycle: localizes to the mitochondria of thermogenic fat cells and acts by mediating phosphorylation of creatine to initiate a futile cycle of creatine phosphorylation and dephosphorylation. During the futile creatine cycle, creatine and N-phosphocreatine are in a futile cycle, which dissipates the high energy charge of N-phosphocreatine as heat without performing any mechanical or chemical work (By similarity). Catalytic activity: creatine + ATP = N-phosphocreatine + ADP + H+
