These enzymes break the β -1,4-glycosidic bond between N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) and glucuronic acid (GlcUA) in the HA sugar chain through a β - elimination reaction, and produce an unsaturated double bond at the C4 and C5 positions of the glucuronic acid. This double bond has characteristic absorption at 232 nm and can be conveniently used for oligosaccharide product analysis and detection. HAase has been found in various bacteria, such as Proteus, Bacteroides fragilis, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Peptostreptococcus, Propionibacterium, Streptomyces, Clostridium, and Vibrio Wait. Many HAases have both chondroitin sulfate/chondroitin sulfate degradation activity, and these HAases are often classified as chondroitin sulfate CSase AC. Many HAases initially exhibit endonuclease characteristics when degrading substrates, randomly binding and cleaving HA/CS polysaccharide chains, followed by exonuclease characteristics. Therefore, rapid accumulation of unsaturated disaccharide products is often observed during substrate degradation, while the proportion of other high degree of polymerization oligosaccharides remains low. In our product, to avoid confusion, we classify HAases with both HA and CS degradation activities as CSase AC. We can provide various HAases with different specific enzyme activities and substrate structure selectivity according to customer needs. Here, HAase refers to HA specific degrading enzymes from Streptomyces hyalurolyticus and others, which can be used as specific tool enzymes for HA analysis and purity detection in biological samples.
