Isoform 2 interferes with the formation of CD86 clusters, and thus acts as a negative regulator of T-cell activation.

Immobilized Recombinant Human CD86 at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Recombinant Human CTLA-4 with a linear range of 10-40 ng/mL.
